Catalonia Puerta Del Sol Hotel Madrid

The hotel was beautifully restored with comfortable and tastefully decorated rooms. The hotel had a lovely indoor courtyard seating area and bar where I could relax after a day of sightseeing. The location was ideal, with many attractions nearby within walking distance. there were plenty of cafes, bars, and restaurants in the area, making it convenient for dining out.

The room I stayed in faced an inner courtyard and opening the window was noisy and didn't let in fresh air. The air conditioning was turned off, made the room too hot.

Nothing to fault.

We absolutely loved staying in this hotel in the city center. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily walk to all the sights and restaurants. The room amenities were fantastic, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning, heating, a mini-bar, and a flat-screen TV. We also loved the bar and restaurant area and enjoyed the buffet breakfast. The staff was always helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home.

We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a great hotel in the heart of the city.

The location of this hotel is fantastic - right on a busy street and within walking distance of everything. The view from the balcony is lively and the old centre of the building adds charm. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is safe to walk around and offers easy access. We were pleasantly surprised with a suite upgrade and received a complimentary bottle of Cava and fresh fruit for our anniversary. The afternoon tea and snacks are a nice touch. The breakfast spread is extensive and delicious, with options for eggs cooked to order, pancakes, churros, pastries.

Overlooked a busy street but no noise thanks to double doors. Room was stylish, spacious, with a massive bed. Good choice of restaurants in the area. The hotel building is excellent.

We had a great stay with really good staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds. The hotel is located near many Madrid attractions and is accessible by public transportation.
